Adhesive bra, strapless and backless

Adhesive bras
This is a type of bra that sticks (adheses) to your breasts and therefor it lacks any straps or bands. Although the adhesive bra has many advantages, the level of support it gives to your boobs is less then regular bras. The adhesive bra is worn under backless or strapless tops.

Since the invention of the adhesive (sticky) bra, there have been two different versions made available, the disposable adhesive bra, which is made of a kind of paper fabric, and the re-usable type which is generally made from silicone, often with a fabric finish. The silicone adhesive bra can be washed and used again.
Adhesive bras tend to be less suitable for women with larger breasts then a C cup or bust measurements above 38 inches, although there are some models one the market that can do fairly well with larger breasts, yet most bras of this type have shown not to give the support larger breasts, or fitting that larger bust measurements require.

Bandeau bra

Bandeau bras
This is actually just a simple band of fabric that can be worn around / across your breasts. A bandeau bra can be worn as strapless, fashionable alternative to a "real" bra, yet it gives less actual support to your breasts and it lacks the capability of shaping your bust. Bandeau bras may not be worn for longer periods of time, as they put pressure on your breasts and suffocate your boobs over time. Wearing a bandeau bra for 4 or 6 hours occasionally is not a big problem though, for instance for attending a dinner or a party.

Corset

Corset (also bridal bras)
With a corset you have an enormous freedom to shape your buste the way you want it. Corsets (corsettes) are designed to support a good posture and they give a lot of extra support to your breasts and upper body in a way that regular bras can never provide. Especially with larger breasts cup sizes, a corset can be extremely comfortable since the weight of your breasts is carried by the entire corset rather then those thin straps that put all the weight on your shoulders.

Demi cup bras / demi-style bra / half-cup bra

Minimizer bras / Reduced cup size bra

A minimizer bra has a correct underwires according to the particular breast base size, but a smaller bra cup. These bras are meants for those women who have natural reduced projection breasts or who have gone through a breast size reduction and where the clinic failed to change the breast base according to the new cup size.
